Combined holding and drying machine (Windmill)

This machine is used on wet leather as they come out of the dyeing drum. The use of this machine allows as much water as possible to be removed from the hides and to stretch and flatten them before they are sent to the vacuum for final drying.

SAFETY DEVICE

The safety device is three factors:

  • Pressure wave technology
  • Safety Board
  • Photocell

By operating one of the three systems we have the immediate reopening of the machine.

HIDRAULIC SYSTEM

The hydraulic system is well accessible in every part. Its control panel is within the operator's reach in a proportional and ergonomic manner.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The electrical system is mounted in a watertight box. Every electrical component is SCHEINEDER ELECTRIC.

OPTIONAL:

  • The blade roller motor can be equipped with INVERTER upon request.
  • You can equip the machine with a touchsreen panel.
  • One can equip the car with a calibrated Start&Stop energy-saving system.

Regarding the latter point, an inverter system is also installed on the hydraulic pump motor, and the two systems are managed by PLC so as to cut off power to the motors during phases in which the machine is open.

This important innovation saves a substantial proportion of electricity, the greater the machine's operating time.

Surveys carried out in different production realities have shown that in an average working day, the directly operational time is on average estimated to be 1/3, during the remaining time the machine is open and non-operational. It is also observed that the power of the motors is required only for very brief moments, while for most of the time the motors idle with related energy consumption.
